Hola! I am Miss Nana. I was born in Argentina, the land of the Tango and some of the best steak in the world. I later moved to Peru, home of the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu.
I moved to the United States when more than 10 years ago.. I am very proud to be a citizen of this great country; America has fulfilled its promise as the Land of Opportunity for my family. I began my educational career in 2006 in pre-school where I was head of the Spanish Program
After 2 years of this experience, I founded Kinder Mundo in 2009.
It has been exceptionally rewarding for me to meet families that are interested in having their children learn Spanish. I also love working with native-speaking families who want their children to retain a fundamental part of their culture by speaking the language of their ancestors.
I love to work with young children, as it is a fun and rewarding journey. At Kinder Mundo, in addition to the benefit of another language, I can teach children manners, respect, and the value of friendship. My greatest pleasure lies in showing them how to fill their little hearts with love!
I amMiss Lela. I am from Lima, Peru. I lived In Germany for 7 years
where I worked as an Au Pair. I worked for a wonderful family with 2 children that were so happy with my job, that refered me to their friends and I end up taking care of 3 more!
Germany was a wonderful experience for me, I learned the language in those 7 years, I also got married, and when I got pregnant, we got relocated to Washington.
I joined Kinder Mundo as a partner with Miss Nana this year, and I am in charge of the babies and toddlers. I love this stage, I do a lot of singing, playing, I read to them, and I am so proud to know that sometimes their first words are in Spanish!!!!!
I have 2 kids, one just turned 3, and my little one is only 8 months. I feel so grateful to give my children the advantage of knowing another language, it is a benefit for live.
